Microeconomics

I learned a lot about microeconomics. Some of the concepts were already familiar to me, because I had taken an interest in them prior to this being a school subject. An interesting fact has been the tulip mania, which some people compare to the Bitcoin hype. I used various materials from several courses and now have a very good overview about the subject in the course.

Resources I used were materials from the following platforms:
- AP Microeconomics from MITx-online, which is free and gives a good overview of microeconomics
- Khan Academy Microeconomics
- Documentary about the tulip mania in the Netherlands 
- the internet to research in addition to the class materials
Other resources and persons who helped me
- I spoke with my mentor who has a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of Potsdam and is currently doing her MBA at the University of Cottbus-Senftenberg.
- Other people I spoke with have small or medium sized businesses and told me about the day-to-day hassles.
- There is a person I know, who works as a lawyer at the local chamber of commerce and I had the opportunity to discuss some of the things I learned with her and get feedback on how these concepts work out for businesses in a real-world setting.
- I looked around on the fastlane forum, which is a business forum for people with ambition to make it big in business.
